Streamfile: Send a large file for free

Streamfile is not the only free file transfer webware out there, but it’s one of the easiest. Simply put in someone’s email address and upload your file. Accept the terms and hit send. The file (up to 150MB for the free version, up to 2GB for the paid) stays up for 24 hours. Easy, easy. I sent myself a 7MB file in 30 seconds. The same file took at least 90 seconds when it cleared my Outlook outbox the other day.

Cons: Use the advanced options to add your name to the email or it comes from the Streamfile Team and will go straight into a spam filter. And the typos make me cringe. But that’s just me.

Welcome to Streamfile – secure data transfers.
