Help a Nerd Out!Â
Janet P. used to work with me when I was a freelance writer. She wants to know… “How many social media accounts should you be on for your business … and how do you decide which ones?”
Come on, guys… let’s give her some advice!
Candi R. Where is your target market? Find out what they are using and that is where you need to be.
Aileen R. I agree. 🙂 it all depends where your target market is. And another important thing to consider is quality over quantity. Tools like Hootsuite make SoMe management easier.
Sally G. You can’t do all of them, and I’d stay away from all but the most popular. Facebook and Linked In are necessary. You only have so much time, pick two or three that you can manage and stick with them. Consistency is important. We do this for clients every day. If you need help, give me a call and I’ll help you figure which ones to target within 10 minutes – at no cost.
Gail O. Read your analytics and spend most time on the most popular, but don’t leave out the least popular. Tomorrow, that may be most popular.
Elizabeth W. Agree with earlier posts – be where your clients are.
Nichola D. ALL OF THEM!!!!!
A tip from YNBF: Use tools like IFTTT to cross-post your content to several of your top social mediums. Â Thanks for the feedback, ladies!
